Privacy Policy

We collect information you provide directly, through:

• The CRM Diagnostic (/diagnostic) — your assessment answers, and, if you request your report, your name, work email, organization name, CRM platform, organization size, and annual budget.
• Booking a call (/book) — your name, email, organization, and answers to scoping questions about your CRM, timeline, and budget. If you book a specific time, Google Calendar's appointment scheduler collects your name, email, and chosen time directly, under Google's own privacy policy.
• A scoping questionnaire we email you a link to — your name and your answers, which are sent to our deal-scoping system, RevWire.
• The Event CRM Health Check at a live event — your name, email, organization, CRM platform, and assessment scores.
• The ROI Calculator (/roi) — the figures you enter and, optionally, an organization name, used only to generate your on-screen or downloaded PDF summary. Nothing you enter there is saved on our servers.

We also keep an anonymous, aggregate tally of how many people received each Diagnostic score, so we can later show how a score compares to others'. It records only the number, never a name, email, or organization.

We do not collect payment information, government ID numbers, or health information through this site.

• To generate and deliver your Diagnostic report, ROI summary, or event results.
• To follow up on a call you booked, or a scoping questionnaire you submitted.
• To reach out if you checked “yes, reach out” on the Diagnostic or Event Health Check.
• To track anonymous, aggregate usage stats that don't identify you.
• To measure and improve our advertising through Google Ads (see Cookies & Advertising below).

We share information with the following parties, and no others, except as required by law:

• HubSpot — our CRM and marketing platform. Submissions from the Diagnostic, booking forms, and Event Health Check are all sent here as leads.
• RevWire — our deal-scoping and booking backend. Booking answers are forwarded here, and scoping-questionnaire answers go directly here.
• Upstash — the hosted database that stores Diagnostic reports, booking records, and live event results (see Retention below for how long).
• Vercel — our hosting provider, which processes all traffic to this site.
• Google — the appointment scheduler embedded on the booking page, and Google Ads, described below.

We do not sell your personal information.

Google Ads. We use Google Ads (tag ID AW-18451347660) to advertise our services and to measure and remarket those ads across the web, including to people who have visited this site. Google Ads sets its own cookies in your browser to do this. You can opt out of personalized Google ads at Google Ads Settings, or opt out of interest-based advertising more broadly at aboutads.info.

Presenter access cookie. When our team runs an in-person Event Health Check, the presenter screen sets a single functional cookie (mm_presenter) to confirm the presenter's password. It contains no personal information, is only set on that private screen, and expires on its own within about a day. It is not set for ordinary site visitors.

Local storage.If you submit a booking form, a copy of your answers is also saved in your own browser's local storage as a backup. That copy stays on your device — we do not read it remotely.

Fonts.This site uses Rubik and JetBrains Mono from Google Fonts, but the font files are downloaded once at build time and served from our own hosting — your browser does not contact Google's servers to load them.

We do not currently respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals.

• Diagnostic reports (shareable at a private, unguessable link) are kept 90 days, then automatically deleted.
• Booking records are kept 180 days.
• Live event results are kept 7 days and never include an email address.
• The anonymous Diagnostic score tally expires one year after the last new score is added, and never has a name or email attached.
• Records in HubSpot or RevWire are retained there as our ongoing business records until deleted at your request or ours.

A Diagnostic report link is not indexed by search engines and is not guessable, but anyone who has the link can view it — treat it like you would any link you forward.

To ask what information we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted, contact us at joe@mataconsulting.co. We'll act on the request to the extent our systems and processors allow.

California residents. This section is provided to comply with the California Online Privacy Protection Act (CalOPPA). We describe above what we collect, how we use it, and who we share it with. If you are a California resident and want to know what information we hold about you or have it deleted, use the contact address above and we will accommodate the request.

This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us at joe@mataconsulting.co and we will delete it.

We may update this policy as the site changes. The date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
